A local favorite serving traditional Italian dishes for 60 years. Delicious ravioli, lasagne, spaghetti and fresh baked bread served by candlelight. You'll feel as if you have stepped back in time. Full bar adjacent to the main dining room. Open Tuesday thru Saturday from 4:30 until 10:30 PM.
I happened to drive by this place, and thought it looked like one of those quaint old places that only the locals know. I walked in, and was told to sit wherever I wanted. After 17 minutes of being totally ignored, I walked out of the place. It's a shame, too. It seemed to be a nice place.
I love Suburban Gardens and find myself there probably too often. The Speghetti is to die for and Pizzas will never let you down. Margaritas are a MUST!!! They are suburbans claim to fame. If you;re looking for something non-italian, they have surprisingly yummy cheeseburgers, poboys, and REALLY great muffelattas!
The food is good, but we mostly go there because of it's romantic atmosphere. It's a small place with candle lit booths and soft Italian music playing, nice. It takes a while to get your food, says so on the menu, that's because everything is made after you order it so don't be in a hurry. The prices are a little expensive but worth it.
