I had dinner here the other night and I would have to say that 1800 is one of the best steakhouses in the shreveport/ bossier area. My Tenderloin was awesome and the dessert was wonderful as well. We also shared a couple of appetizers. The shrimp cocktail was scrumptious, the shrimp were so tender but the Marinated crab claws were out of this world. I will be going back very soon.
As a Bossier native, I try to avoid the casino steakhouses. They are usually overpriced, and only want you in there if you are a gambler (which I'm not). This week, I went to dinner with a friend who suggested that we try it out. She saw the chef on TV a couple of weeks ago and thought it sounded good.
We were very pleased with the service and the meal. I had the ribs which were delicious and falling off the bone. She had salmon, which she enjoyed greatly. The service was excellent (ask for Stacie), and the Chef came out several times to check on us. Overall it was a very reasonably priced and fantastic meal. I would recommend it to anyone and I will be back!
1800 Prime steakhouse had some of the best food that i have tasted in this area. The Ribs and tomahawk steak was HUGE and juicy. I could not eat all of this steak due to its size. We will return soon. Thank you for making this a special evening.
the steak house at boomtown casino use to this name. they have changed the name and more importantly the quality of the food. it is now 1800 prime.they broil the steak at 1800 degrees. THEY ARE NOW ONE OF THE BEST IN THE AREA.
This restaurant is a great surprise. We had no idea Boomtown Casino had a first rate steakhouse and we never even thought about going there for dinner. This past weekend, Valentine's fell on a Saturday and I wasn't able to get us in at our usual favorites. A friend at work said they heard good things so I called and was able to get a reservation at a reasonable time. We couldn't have been more pleased - great food, excellent service from Kenny and management was very attentive. And not too bad a price for what you get.
