This is great fine dining for special occasions. It has a very cozy atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. My wife and I spent a couple of hours there on our anniversary and it was well worth it. Everything we ordered was great. I highly recommend ordering the soufflé for desert, but it take 30 min. so order it early. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I do highly recommend Maison Lacour to anyone looking for a great place for a romantic evening.

Haute Cuisine in Baton Rouge
By ,
It is off the beaten path on a side road, so it is definitely a destination location. On a major thorofare or in an complex like Town Center the place would stay packed. That is the ONLY negative. The wine list is exemplary. The food, both in presentation and taste is an experience available nowhere else in this city. Owners Mike and Eva Jetty have a dedication to creating a fine dining experience that is not only excellent, but outstanding as compared to any other restaurants in the area. That comes through in the service, atmosphere and most certainly in the food which is as close to Lyon, France as it gets while still in the USA. This is an experience not to be missed.

I had heard that this was a fine French restaurant from some friends. I was not disappointed I can tell you. The lighting was great, the mode just right, and the food was, well, it was grand. So grand that I plan on going there again this January 24th. When it comes to a restaurant as good as this one, money is not a problem. Thanks for a great experience. Roland Spano Jr.
