Unfortunately, we don't live in Louisiana any more, but EVERYTIME we visit, we go to Hollier's to eat and to stock up on their boudain, tasso, and sausages. In my opinion, it's the best cajun place in the whole state.
My husband and I travel 30 miles to eat there! Crawfish is awesome; haven't had any complaints. Husband had a steak last time...not like the roadhouse but it was worth the price. Baked catfish is great!
Went to Hollier's Cajun Kitchen, my wife got the 8 oz. ribeye, it was a pounded down piece of meat cut against the grain with alot of fat!! In fact there was more fat instead of steak!! I had the seafood buffett and it was terrible. Ordered a 1/2 pound of Boudin and we could not even eat it, it was that bad!! Ordered 2 Boudin balls and they were over cooked, almost burnt. We would not recommend this place to anyone!!!! Will never go BACK!!!
Went to Hollier's to experience the bar-be-que buffet. It is, without a doubt, the best buffet I have ever experienced. I had to go there to settle a bet with my friend B Chizzle. Will go there again when I win the next bet.
wednesday is a great day to feast at HOLLIER! oooh that barb-b-que was so sweet and tastie and what a spread. Now you better get there early because it will become packed in minutes. The service is really a draw back, and one glass of tea is just not going to hold me while i am tearing in to pork chops and chicken breast. One other thing i would like to see improved is the sweet bar it is still the same old same old and needs to be updated. Here is were i do the buffet i do not order off the menue.4 stars from your local critic!
