Pastime Restaurant & Lounge
It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, and Pastime is the oldest dog in the restaurant pack. After 65 plus years in downtown Baton Rouge, with the help of a few friends, family and K-fx2, we have finally allowed ourselves to be dragged into the 21st century. All of our friends and customers from the past 65 years, our present customers and all of our future customers and friends can now jump on the internet and keep up with all the food, fun and events at both Pastime Restaurants. Inside you will find a listing of all events, bands, promotions and activities at both present and future locations. You are now able to browse our menus online, download them to hang on the fridge, and ORDER ONLINE. Come browse through photos of the past and present customers and friends, look through our history and even get answers to questions we have been asked for over 65 years.
2nd to LSU Football, I stop in B.R. for Past Time's. Gotta have a Roast Beef Po-Boy and a bottled Coke Classic. The rich history of LSU fills the walls and it is a hot spot for our capitol's politicians. Casual atmosphere and a favorite for locals.
Went to the new location and had a great time there. Food is just as good as there other location. Staff is very polite and helpful. It is a lot closer to my home so I can get a pizza without having to go downtown. Only bad point is the downtown location one of the managers there is not very polite I was in there and he was talking bad about the management at the other place. He is the guy kinda big with a gotee. When I heard that i just had to find a outlet to complain. If I were the owner I would make sure my staff was not doing that you might want to send that guy to work at the new store for awhile, because ive been there a lot and they have it together im always called by name.
