Picante Mexican Restaurant, Lafayette

Me and my friends just got the best time at picantes on ambassador. Service is always great. the manager always comes and checks on tables.You dont see that very often. She is very nice, so is the staff. I really like this place. The atmosphere is different from the other one in carencro. A lot more sofisticated. I really like that. Margaritas.....the best

This is a great place to, even with your kids! There's a karoke night (never been there for that though) and live bands sometimes! Delicious margaritas too!

Good food, jukebox and great Margaritas. We love to eat in the bar an listen to the music. The staff is very friendly and the hot tamales are unique.

We went here based on reviews on Yahoo! Eeecchhk!!!! I think this is the first time I have sent food back in a long time at any restaurant, and, lol the second plate [20 min later] was worse. Salsa was watery, place was dirty and the crowning blow was our rental car was broken into out front! We got back to our hotel and came back here to write this review... We missed that the reviews we read were from 2006, 2008 etc! sad it turned out this way cause Lafayette is supposed to be such a good food town???

I love going to Piquante's. The combination fajitas are excellant. The Margaritas are delicious. I especially like the shrimp quesadillas. The staff has always been friendly and amiable. They are so eager to make your dining experience a pleasurable one. I love the atmosphere. The people who go there are always smiling and the place is filled with laughter especially on Karoke nights. All in all.....fun, fun, fun!

Me and my friends use to go to this restaurant all the time, almost every weekend. We stopped going after several occasions of rude servers, cold food, and also the drinks are expensive. I did really enjoy karaoke here. They have lost good customers in losing our group. Also, I ordered tableside guacamole one time and it was not made by tableside. It tasted less than fresh. I had to dump a bowl of salsa in it just to eat it. Despite these bad experiences, there were many times when I had good food and service. Perhaps, it can again return to these times, but unfortunately, I will not go back again to find out.
