Thai Cuisine, Lafayette

As a transplant in Lafayette from California, I have had the privilege of many wonderful and high quality Thai eateries. We were pleasantly surprised to find this little place whose quality and service equal what I am used to. The food is really good here and we think it is much better than Pimon Thai whos food and service are lacking. The service at this restaurant is exceptional and the two gals who served us (La and Suede) are really wonderful ladies. Yumla (not sure about the spelling) who is the cook and owner does a great job of turning out delicious Thai dishes!

I've been driving past this place for years thinking it was just a buffet. Apparently they have a small buffet as an option for lunch, but it's a regular menu place. I took my wife there and we loved it. Friendly folks and good food. I'll be going back regular now.

Read the other reviews and there's a reason why Thai Cuisine is not as crowded as Pimon Thai. The food is not nearly as good! Take your own taste test. Try any dish from both places, especially the curries, and make your own decision as which is authentic.

Wonderful! What a delightful and comfortable place to enjoy a delicious Thai cuisine. The terrific weekday lunch buffet and the evening menu is filled with an excellent choice of tasty, spicy dishes prepared with loving care from the freshest vegetables and meats. To top it off, the management and service is top notch, making it such a dining pleasure. Very highly recommended as the best in Lafayette, LA. Al & Bobbie G.

If you have a choice between this Thai restaurant and Pimon Thai on Johnston, go to this place. It's not as busy, and the food is 100% better! Try their soup! It's made fresh daily and has lots of vegetables and flavor in it. My favorite is the Tom Yum and my husband's favorite is the one with Coconut milk in it. It's the best Thai place I've been to out of Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette. My wife and I love the soup. I like the coconut and my wife loves the lemon grass soup. It is always made fresh to order. The food is great. If you like Pimon Thai you should try Thai Cuisine. The food is better and it is not a crowded.
