ONE OF A KIND! Simple but excellent! Burgers and cold beer, center of city, great place to see and meet freinds!

Moved to Lafayette last year, and Judice Inn burgers are one of the things that make this town special. Burgers are seasoned with a little Cajun spice, they have just the right amount of fat content, and they are very flavorful. Get a cheeseburger with a fried egg on top. Some people here are complaining they don't have fries, but apparently it's always been that way there, and they've been around for well over 50 years. They must be doing something right. Anyway, I go to a burger joint for the burgers. USA Today did a series on the 50 best burger joints in America (one in each state), and Judice Inn was it for Louisiana. I can't find fault with that judgment. Just a great burger.

I am in town for training and have to eat out for every meal. What a let down. I was looking for the best burger review and the Judice Inn had it. I was so disappointed I had to leave and go get more to eat elsewhere. Come to Houston/Katy area and eat burgers at Clay's and the Burger Shack. Just two in my area that blow this place off the map.....

Just eat two Judice Inn Burgers and they were great. I was looking at some of the reviews. Quit a few bad ones. First know what your buying. This is not a modern burger! It is from a time of "simple is better." Alot of people like this. The world was better when things were like this. When you get this burger, think about what someone in 1955 got out of Judice Inn burgers, A Good Meal, Cold Beer, and Friendly Patrons through out the years.

I just tried this place. Nice! Although, the burgers are not good. And they don't have fries. My burger was an over-cooked hockey puck and it looked like the cook scraped the grill and put a bunch of that crap on my burger. What special sauce? I couldn't detect any. But it's a nice little place. I guess I'm glad I finally tried it. Waiter-type guy said the burger was small so I should get two. Two burgers, chips and a drink = $8, plus more for tip. Next time I'll go to McDonalds. At least they have some moisture in their burgers--and they have fries!

I am surprised that so many folks rate these burgers so highly. Makes me suspect some deceptive reviews are being authored. Of course . . . . I have good taste so I am qualified to rate these burgers about the worst in town.

Great Burger
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/08
Oh man this place has great burgers! It's a huge patty like a homemade burger! 50's or 60 's inspired style restaurant but still very good and well worth the money

I hate this place they smell like onions. The burgers taste like your eating a big fat onion even if you order it without onions. The smell alone is just so horrible. Plus if you just want something small you better hope you have cash or they will change you way more for it.

this is the oldest hamburger joint in Lafayette. I think their burgers are disgusting. If you like small dry patties with a squirt of thousand island type sauce accompanied by a bag of potato chips, then this is the place for you!
