Aztecas Mexican Cuisine, Lafayette

I ate at this restaurants in the first year it had opened. The food was awful! The nachos were a pile of chips with a pile of gunk on top. The margarita tasted like a snowball. That was my first and last experience with Aztec's. Unless a lot has changed, I greatly advise trying another Mexican restaurant.

I have only been here twice but both time the food was great and the service was good. I think this resturant has good food great service and great prices.

funny how ALL of the Mexican restaurant reviews cut down every restaurant except one...and all happen to be written on the same day???

We used to eat here at least once a week since it opened. We noticed the food quality and especially the service getting weaker and weaker. On our last trip there the service was so bad that I askedto speak to the manager about it and was informed that the person waiting on us was the owner. When I addressed the issue with her of the terrible service I was told by her that if I didn't like it I could leave and never come back that she didn't care. That was the most unprofessional way to handle the situation but I gladly took her advice and we will NEVER go back. It's a shame to treat a customer of so many years in this way of any customer at all. I feel we are not missing anything as the restaurant food quality is probably equal to a fast food chain with steadily increased prices.

I dont know when the first reviewer went to Azteca's...or that maybe theyve confused it with an entirely different restaurant..BECAUSE...ive never had a bad experience at Azteca's. The food is awesome...best mexican food in Louisiana! The service is great. We sometimes go twice a week. I recommend their Fajitas...our favorite!! We brought family from out of town there....they loved it as well!

This place is about as good as Taco Bell and the service is not as good.
