Randol's Restaurant & Cajun, Lafayette

crawfish here sucks, very over priced. dont eat here. try gator cove or dwights for crawfish. Randols is a tourist trap.

One of lafayette's premier hometown restaurants and cajun dance spots. As a cajun, i should and do know ... been to most all of the regional venues and Randol's is one of my favorites. Cozy bar, cajun theme and atmosphere. Friendly waitstaff and great service. Music venues 7 days a week. One of the best places to dance, great place for a beginnner to get on dance floor and not be intimidated. The dancing includes all ages depending on the musical group and night of the week with the occassional mix of international visitors. Great food, great music, great time.

Hands down the freshest crawfish I've ever eaten. Everything else is very fresh as well. Management is super nice, but the wait staff are less than satisfactory. A little overpriced, but the atmostphere and fresh seafood make it worth it.

This is a tourist spot. The food is not great, the service is not great, the restrooms are dirty. The music and dancing are great.

I took a motorcoach group there and it was horrible. Nine people got their food 45 minutes after everyone else. I asked for compensation for those nine and they not only told me no, but hwne I noticed they charged me more than they originally quoted me, they also would not honor that. They told me sorry. I wouldn't waste my time on this establishment and they are NOT tour group friendly..

We had great expectations for this place, and were very disappointed. Average tasting, pricey, small portions. Service was slow, and it took over 30 minutes to get our orders. The only good thing was the dance hall.

Another tourist trap.... go there for the drinks and dancing, but go elsewhere if you want good food.
