Great place to bring the family . Food is great, price's are reasonable and casual dress type place. Their specialty is the fried shrimp. My favorite is the SEAFOOD GUMBO....

This is the best restaurant in Louisiana!!! I always have the fried shrimp but my girlfriend has tried just about everything on the menu and she always loves it!!!

Val's is the best seafood restaurant around! The owners and people there are so nice and welcoming! If you haven's been you should go!

OMG!!! I love going to Val's Marina. I love the owning family and the workers there!! I would recommend this restaurant to ANYONE going or living around Maurapas!!!! If you are looking for somewhere to eat or chill go to Val's. ORDER FRIED SHRIMP!!!

Vals has the best gumbo in the state.That,everyone knows.The rest of their food is delicious as well,and the atmosphere, is one of a small cafe where everyone feels at home and knows each other.Prices are reasonable and portions are huge.
