Ordered catfish, needless to say had a go order! The catfish had an unusual smell, after breaking it to check it was uncooked in the middle. This was not cheap, very little food in the box and the catfish not even cooked. Threw it in the trash! Will never get another dollar from me!

The bloody mary's are a rip off. The use zing zang, you can tell, the drinks are watery, grey and much too coarse. Way overpriced for "casual" dining and unimpressive food. Ordered some kind of crawfish eggroll which was served cut in half. The most crawfish I found in one half was two, the rest was rubbery cheese which hardened very quickly on the over air conditioned deck. Every party on the deck complained of how cold it was, I had to move. No employee noticed how uncomfortable anyone was even though we were vocal about it. I decided it wasn't worth staying to order an entree. I will not be a return customer.

Got the catfish and wife got the burger. Both of us very unhappy. Catfish tasted rubbery like the had been cooked and reheated.

I'd like to know if the gift certificate that I paid $50.00 for to use at the location in Homewood, Alabama, would be good at any other location. I just bought my husband a birthday gift certificate and the place suddenly shut down. We are very upset. First, at losing our $50.00 and that they even sold me a gift certificate obviously knowing they were shutting down a couple of weeks later. Please let me know if my certificate will be good in Covington, Louisiana, as I do visit Louisiana from time to time which is the reason we were frequenting this restaurant here in the Birmingham area as we missed the Louisiana Cuisine.

This was the most disgusting meal I have had in a long time. Everything tasted like it had Velveta in it. I had the crabcake with Ponchartrain sauce. The crabcake was cold in the middle and tasted like it had been in the freezer for a week before it was deep fried! Awful. I really wanted some authentic Louisiana fare and this missed the mark! The people who gave it good reviews either work there or had something far different than what I experienced.

This place is absolutely wonderful! We just left the place, it was so good we had to write a review. The food was outstanding. We had the stuffed eggplant with the pasta ponchatrain sauce and the stuffed porkchops with the lafayette sauce. The best food we have had in a long time. The ambiance was very inviting, could be romantic or casual. The service, outstanding, we had Maria with the curly hair. She was on top of her game, friendly and very attentive. We highly recommend this place for dinner.

This place has some of the best seafood on the West Bank. From fried platters, to po-boys, to gumbo, this place has it all. You may have to wait for a table, but the natives on the "best bank" will tell you it's worth the wait!
