House of Seafood Buffet, Bush

food is not of good quality , like eating casino food, what all they have sounds so good , untill ur sitting down eating , everything is awful

The house of seafood is great. I have been there numerous times and the service is also great. The food is well cooked and taste fresh. I will continue to go to the house of seafood. The price is also very fair.

We have been going to the House of Seafood for several years. We live in Mobile, Al and make the drive for different occasions. The food has always been very good and the selection of shrimp is more than Bubba in Forrest Gump can imagine. The only problem that we have encountered was in our last visit. The shrimp was so overcooked we could not eat them. We discussed this with other patrons and they agreed. To me, it was a total waste to see all these beautiful shrimp discarded in the buckets. We will continue to make the drive whenever possible and enjoy all the wonderful food from the raw oysters to the alligator sausage and frog legs. Bon Apetite

We hadn't been to house of seafood in about 3 years. They sure aren't as good as they use too be! They had dirty silverware and when i mentioned it to the girl she was non responsive about the issue! There were a few things that were not good! The bathroom stunk and we were smelling a musty order around the dessert area! not sure I will make a trip there agin! Hearing other places around that are better in all areas!

The only problem I encounter is that the crawfish are so salty I can't eat them.Even after reporting the problem the next batch is OK then the next is too salty again. Someone has a heavy hand when it comes to salting the seafood.I used to go there every week and now I go to Ole South on Hwy 21. There isn't the variety but the price is less and the crawfish are always cooked perfectly.The people seem to care more about what the customer wants.

I live in Baton Rouge, LA and make the drive out to the House of Seafood at least once a year! I am only writing a review because I see there are 3 negatives all complaining about the same thing... BUGS?! Out of my 10+ years I have been going to the restaurant, I have NEVER EVER had a bug issue. One thing to consider before going is the restaurant has a family atmosphere. It is not white table cloths, it is wooden tables covered with benches. Everyone there is dressed casual and there is great food and great selection. *If you are looking for a 5 star restaurant that has a romantic atmosphere then this isn't the place. This is just good ole fashion food and great people/service that is better than any place I have ever eaten.

GREAT Seafood,you have a real big choice of seafood,cooked different ways.Just need to expand a little so a few more people could sit faster.

I have 1 problem with House of Seafood...Today is Sunday and they are closed..........Man, I sure am craving it!!!!

The food is great. I just wish it was closer to Baton Rouge. I have been telling others about how good the food is.

We're from California and visited family in the Baton Rouge Parish area and we drove the 1.5 hours and it was well worth it. Food excellent!! Every type of seafood you csn imagine. Can't wait to visit again.
