Maybe they were having an off night. Last week, I came to Slidell for business, the first time in about 3 years, and convinced my associates that we had to eat dinner at Young's. It had the cache' of being one of the most poorly identified restaurants in the northern hemisphere, but I had tagged in my GPS the last time, so there would be no problem finding it. We were seated immediately and the staff was very attentive. However, the food was disappointing. I had always reflected on the prime rib served me the last time I ate there, being an inch thick, absolutely tender, and served with horseradish sauce and some steamed veggies. Wonderful. However, what I was served was not prime rib, but a comparably marginal sirloin - dry tasting, tough and I refused to finish it. The price did not merit the quality of the food, which was on par with Golden Corral (hence my assessment of 3 stars - the only thing saving it from 2 stars was the service - very good).
