Love the roast beef and seafood poboys. The potato salad is great as well!

This is another one of my 10 star suggestions. The food is always outstanding. This place will break you of ever wanting to eat sandwiches anywhere else. There just aren't enough great things I can say about this place. It's been in this area since the late 70's and there is nothing to improve on perfection...

Wow fantastic,we moved out of state over a year ago and finally got back to visit and went to Bears. It was great to bite into a good juicy roast beef po boy.Hope to get back again soon.They also hooked us up to bring some back home with us.

Best po-boys in the area. Service takes a litttle long, but well worth the wait. Call ahead if you want to eat your sandwich when you get there.

Paid for my drinks and left restaurant before I even ordered food. This happened at the Mandeville location. A "german" roach crawled across our table...killed it, no big deal...1 roach. Then a second one we noticed had paniced the waitress at the front desk...that's when we decided 1 too many roaches.

By looking at the outside of the building, you would think this was just a hole in the wall deli, but Bear's has the best po-boys around. You can get their famous roast beef po-boys, fried shrimp, ferdies or even chicken tenders for the kids. This is a family owned business and the people are always super-friendly. If you're calling in an order to go, I would call in at least 30 minutes before you need it -- just in case. They can get extremely busy.
