Brennan's Restaurant, New Orleans

We have had reservations to Brennan s twice and have yet to be seated in less than an hour late. The last time was last week. We had a 12:30 reservation and finally were served and got out of there at 3:00. We waited for over an hour, even though there were empty tables. Also, the waiters were less than helpful. We asked questions about some of the menu items and they didn t have a clue. the service was very slow. I think they do all of this to sell more drinks. Don t listen to all the hype, I would avoid this reataurant, if you visit New Orleans.

Just had breakfast yesterday at Brennan's and it was fabulous! The service is tops! Be sure and say hey to Mario who has been there 39 years! The atmosphere is classic and timeless New Orleans. Felt the same as it did the first time I was there. And the food was phenomenal. If you're in NOLA, you have to try Brennan's at least once. You won't be disappointed!

A new Orleans classic and true original. It's the place for breakfast,go all out have the milk punch and turtle soup (best in nola) , eggs Benedict or griddles & grits and finish with bananas foster. You'll love it and so will your cardiologist. PS don't over look it for dinner great wine list and meat and fish that are as good as any in town.

Dinner here is overpriced for the quality (they seem to be drifting by on reputation over actual cooking), but brunch is still excellent. For $34 you can get a 3 course brunch, ending with (among other options) their famous Bananas Foster. Ala carte options are also available for those on a tighter budget. Do it true New Orleans style and make it a boozy breakfast with a mimosa or Bloody Mary.

A family favorite. Brunch and Bananas Foster an absolute favorite. Pricey but great service.

Has lost much of its lure. The food tastes old fashioned and out of date. Far too much butter and salt and not enough spices.

Not what it use to be years ago. way down hill now!
