By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/13/07
I had the best time with my girlfriends at this restaurant. The food and service were exceptional. I can't wait to go back.

Best restaurant of our visit
By lleeggss, 2/26/07
Dickie's was one restaurant we were really looking forward to. I had the house filet which was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Our table tried a sampling of desserts including the coconut cake, chocolate flourless, and cheesecake. We left the restaurant absolutely stuffed and miserable!! The service was excellent. One steak came out under cooked but was quickly recooked and brought back correct. I was a little disappointed that the restaurant does not enforce some semblance of a dress code. We sat near the door and caught glances of lots of T-shirts, flip flops and ball caps being seated. Oh well, I guess if we had wanted a fancies restaurant we would have gone to Commanders!

AWESOME!
By Shannon, 3/15/07
The best food I have ever eaten. It is worth the money to enjoy an amazing meal from start to finish. We had great service. I have not eaten since Hurricane Katrina but a long standing family tradition of resturants should hold out.

Want to be pampered and enjoy the best food ever? Then Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse is the place. The service is the best and the House Filet is to die for! You definitely get what you pay for. The next time we are in New Orleans, we will definitely go back to Dickie Brennan's.

We are always looking for an opportunity to visit.
By Shaebird, 8/16/05
Dickie Brennan's is a fantastic restaurant located right in the heart of the French Quarter, only a half block off of Bourbon Street. This is one of the finest restaurants in the city and is one of our top 2 picks. the food is excelent and the service is second to none. We recomend grabbing a table next to the bar for lunch so that you can sit next to the window and watch all of the interesting French Quarter patrons pass by.

Incredible
By tao, 5/9/06
This steakhouse is the best I have ever been to. The food is excellent as well as the service. The steaks melt in your mouth and the different sauces that are served only add to them! I wish I could go once a week. The food is expensive, but so worth it. We went before Hurricane Katrina and after, and all the hurricane did was make the restaurant even better. We will definitely go back as soon as we can!!!

Wow!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/5/05
First, let me say that I rarely eat meat anymore... I'm one of those pseudo-vegetarians that still eats chicken, but no red meat. However, my boyfriend had wanted to check this place out so I figured I would give in to the whole experience. And was it ever worth it! If every piece of meat could be as wonderful as the 8 oz. filet I had -- so long vegetables!!! We did not order anything from the wine list, so this was an extremely affordable meal. The service was a bit slow and lacking at times, but still tolerable. It was so good that I recommended it to my mother on her trip to N.O. -- and she loved it, too!! Can't go wrong.

Sooo Good
By Michael, 9/5/05
My husband and I visited this restaurant in May, 2005. The meat was absolutely better than Ruth Chris and it melted in your mouth. We ordered ( and you can't eat a whole lot)a salad and some mushrooms and it was even too much. Absolutely the best in New Orleans. I am writing this review after the disaster in this wonderful city and I so hope this area can once again become viable with a lot of help from all of us.
