Bubba Gump Shrimp Company, New Orleans

Since the Landry's have taken over the food is no longer worth it. The ambiance is commercial and insincere, the working conditions have gotten worse and job requirements chaotic and pointless. The Landry's suck as restaurant owners and now Bubba Gumps sucks as a result of their lack of knowledge and experience in food and food service.

My family had tried this resturant 2 years ago, and we ended up with friends there again this past weekend. First time was pricy, overcooked seafood, terrible etoufee, terrible wing tenders, cold french fries. the only redeming item we had on our 9 person table was the pork sliders. A terrible resturant with a great waitstaff. Second time with the same number of people and we were all very disapointed and broke when finished. Manager told us before seating that he didn't understand why the resturant was not well known, DUH! No referals to friends or family from us again. We have eaten better shrimp at Popeyes fried chicken, and still may have had money when leaving.

i thought the food was pretty good. my wife had the pomegranate margarita, which she said was great. i ordered a sprinkled lemonade, yummy, and got a cute light up cup with it. to eat she ordered the ceaser salad and mug of gumbo, she said the salad was great, the gumbo just ok. i got the bbq burger, and it was really good. rather them pouring the bbq sauce on the bun, the cooked it on the burger, which was great!! my meal was delicious! we shared a desert of a warm chocolate chip cookie with icecream and caramel and fudge drizzle. it came in a mini cast iron skillet and tasted great! our waiter was really cool. he also tried the trivia on us, we didnt know that many, but it was funny. i reccomend anyone give it a vist.

This place sucks, my butterfly shrimp was favor-less as well as my original shrimp. I will never eat there again. Not to mention it was pricey.

Not that impressed. Food was a little overpriced. The atmosphere was decent.

The drinks were excellent, bright and colorful. We sat on the balcony and watched the Mardi Gras fire works and night life below.

When I was planning our trip to New Orleans I decided I wanted to visit this place because I love Forrest Gump and I thought it was be fun, and it was! The food was great, I got the Coconut shrimp and I loved it! Our waitress was really nice too!

Bubba Gump's Shrimp Company was a fun place to eat. The waitress we had was knowledgeable, fun, and just what I like to see from service. It was lunchtime and busy, but there was no rush, and we felt that we had all the time needed to enjoy our food. Sampling their daily specials were a treat, the food cooked to perfection, in a fun atmosphere. I would definitely go back again!

i loved this place it was the best shimp place i have ever eat at i am going to come back as so as posaple. the maters were one of the best i have ever had.
