Haydel's Bakery, New Orleans

The bakery did my daughters wedding cake and the grooms cake. Not only were they beautiful but they were delicious! It was my first cake experience from the bakery and I can t wait to eat some again!

Ordered a king cake 2 weeks ago to be sent to San Antonio Texas. They stated that UPS had the wrong address. Called them to state that nobody had called me to let me know that king cake had not been received. They said they would overnight it for Fri. 3/24 (Order had been placed on 3/10/11 originally). Called them on 3/24/11 to see what tracking # was for king cake. They still had not sent it out & told me they could send it out on Monday for Tuesday. Told them to refund my money. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Will never order anything again from them in the future & will make it a point to tell everybody I know to not do business with them. Hope they go out of business!!!

If they cannot send a KING cake to our soldiers F'em. I was going to order a large quantity of cakes etc for a Mardi gras bash...Forget it and forget them...ENOUGH!! Stop this non-sense and get back to being an AMERICAN and support this country or Foff!!! I'mjust saying.

SUPPORT OUR SOLDIERS...or NOT! I cannot believe the attitude that Haydel's has toward our Soldiers. They absolutely refuse to ship to an APO address to get a king cake to a soldier at war for our country. I am a long time resident of New Orleans, but had to relocate to keep my employment. I do not have the ability to pick up a king cake and move it to the Post Office. I have agreed to take all responsibility for the cake since it may take several additional days to reach Iraq. My son loves Mardi Gras and would like a king cake from home. I would suggest that anyone who supports our United States Military and our sons and daughters overseas not support Haydel's Bakery.

We stopped in from out of town last weekend. The tiramisu was the very best dessert I have ever tasted in my life.....can't stop thinking about it! Wish I had the recipe, because we live 3 hours away.

OMG! the best petifores in the nation! We go there to buy birthday cakes when its n ones birthday! The BEST!

Haydel's is awesome! It is the only place I trust for King Cakes. Best in the city!

I think this place is closed for good. Ordered online and never got a response, confirmation email, nor did they accept payment. tried calling many many times and no response either. Its too bad.
