We ate breakfast at Petunias, being that it was in close proximity to our hotel. The food was mediocre, at best. The best part of the meal were the hashbrown potatoes. The light onion flavor really accented the natural taste of the potato; it was a nice perk.
The dining room, while it appeared clean on a quick glance over, was not. There was a rat trap, spotted by my nephew, behind a bench at a corner table. There were rat droppings around the fireplace, as well.
I don't think we'll be back to Petunias, on any future visits to New Orleans.
