Went here for the 1st time with friends from out of town. Wasn't happy with the shrimp poboy I had. I was expecting to eat someone authentic but the bread wasn't the typical poboy bread. Plus they toasted it. No sides with sandwiches so had to pay for extra for fries. Staff was nice but wasn't impressed by food.
We have been enjoying Giorlando's Po-boys and Muffs for many years. Now that we are living in San Antonio, I long for their hot Roast Beef! This is a neighborhood place that does it simple and does it right!
This place has the best Italian 'red sauce' I have ever tasted. I like the sweet type tomato sauce,and this is it,with a perfect blend of seasonings. In a city of big name restaurants, this little place is my hands down fave for Italian home cookin!
