I was there March 28, 2008 with a group of 7 people. We were on our way from Arizona to Minnesota. We stopped in at 6 pm. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. A guy named JR took our order. We sat there for an hour and a half waiting for our food. 3 of us, including myself, ordered steaks. I ordered mine med well, more on the pink side and the other 2 ordered theres well done. The rest of the orders were a hamburger, an italian chicken dish, a shrimp plate, and a child's pizza. Needless to say, almost everything came out wrong. The only thing that came out good was the hamburger. All three steaks were burned to a crisp and dried out. Everything else was cold. The garlic mashed potatoes had brown gravy on them and had looked like they had been sitting there all day. The childs pizza looked like one of those microwave ones you get from the gas station. One of my friends got up and asked where I food was at considering one other customer came in after us and had already gotten his hamburger. 15 minutes after she asked our food came out. We were not happy and the three of us that ordered steaks didn't want them remade, considering we had already been sitting there for almost 2 hours. The other 2 asked for strawberry milkshakes. They sat and waited another 15 minutes before they came out, and when they did, they were milk. We decided to get up and leave and we showed a few other customers what we got, and they followed us out. This was the worst experience I had ever had at a country kitchen. That resturaunt shouldn't be called country kitchen. The manager they had on duty that night was not the store manager and she had only been there 2 days! We asked for the store managers number to call and talk to him that evening, and they gave us the store number. The other thing we noticed while we were sitting there was the smell of marijuana smoke. Kinda makes ya wonder what they were really doing back in that kitchen, because obviously they aren't cooking. And those were suppose to be the 2 BEST cooks at that resturaunt. Yeah, right, I was almost tempted to go back there and cook our food myself, at least it would have turned out right then.
