Summer Kitchen Cafe & Bakery, Omaha

I will not go back. Went with a group of co-workers. Hostess did not smile once. One of the men in our party used the restroom and there was no soap. He asked for soap so that he could wash his hands, it was never provided. It makes you wonder how well the male staff wash their hands if there's no soap in the restroom.

The thing I love the most about Summer Kitchen Cafe is that they have such fresh food. I've never had a bad meal here and their desserts are to die for!!! You could just go there for dessert!!!

I have eaten at this establishment a couple of times and I really love the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with the Rotella's Bread (THE BEST!) and mashed potatoes or the Hot Turkey Sandwich.

Summer cafe has fgood qwuality fresh food that always tastes great!!! They also give to the local opmaha community and support community fundraisers...

You can also actually eat healthy. The stir fry and potato casseroles are delicious as are all the baked goods. My only reservation is I wish they would stay away from iceberg lettuce and just go with the greens.

IF you go you must have the prime rib melt followed by a slice of HO HO CAKE. It is awesome food. Our family's main hang out.

Great service and reasonable prices. Save room for dessert. Even though we live four hours away, we will go back for every special occation. PS there are no raisins in their carrot cake - YES !

We live in the neighborhood and frequent Summer Kitchen quite often--well, at least we did. The food and service are both great; however, there is an evening hours male manager who needs a little help in the customer service department. At least once a week we would stop there and got to know the wait staff pretty well. This particular manager would seat us most often and never would even acknowledge us by even saying "hello". In fact, each time we came in he acted like he had never seen us before!! The most recent time this happened, we decided it would be the last time it happened. We are now discovering all the new restaurants in northwest Omaha.

This restraunt has woderful seletion of food items. The staff is freindly and fast.
