This long-standing Omaha favorite recently moved to new digs in the heart of Dundee. Established in 1933, the only thing new about the new Dell is the atmosphere, which has gone from haphazard to hip. Gratefully, the food remains the same, including the signature two piece fish and chips that made the Dell famous. Other menu favorites include the Reuben Sandwich and the Big Easy Sandwich. There are more than 500 different brands of single malt scotches on hand to tempt the serious sipper. With nearly 1200 types of liquor, over 150 beers, and 80 wines you won't be disappointed.
The ole dundee bar and grill on 50th and dodge has reopened. While they are not open for lunch, their burgers are some of the best in town, fish is just as good as any in town and hand cut fries. Prices are surprisingly low considering the location. Many TV's to watch your fav game. You can also book party's, after work get together's, or other functions. PLENTY OF ROOM
I stopped into the Dundee Dell last week with a friend. I just wanted something light. I had the Chili and Garlic bread which hit the spot. The ambiance of the Dundee Dell is so laid back and relaxing. I would recomend anyone taking their business clients here to relax and discuss business, andtime any day of the week.
I go there at least 2x's a week. Especially Fridays for the fish. If you like down home cooking with flair...the Dundee Dell is the place to go. Its perfect for that busness lunch, to bring your out of towns guests for dinner and the whole family. Dundee Dell is an established resturant which deserves top marks for the food and service.
The Dundee Dell has a huge menu of decently priced sandwiches, salads, and entrees, and all that I've had or heard about have been wonderful. The service is top notch and a meal is usually served very quickly. The Dell also boasts one of the largest scotch selections I've ever seen (or remembered). I consider this establishment to be a hidden gem in the heart of Omaha.
