Mc Kenna's Blues Booze & BBQ, Omaha

I eat out often; 3-4 times per week. I have never received such poor service in my life. I'm still in disbeleif. Even if the food had been good I am so turned off by the horrible wait staff I would never return. Very very disappointed.

Not terribly impressed and the live band was aweful. Drunken something band. won't go back.

I have been around the world and I still love comming back to the best BBQ in the midwest

Good idea, really bad execution. Be great if you bring a sack lunch I suppose.

Love the service and the chef is off the chain.The sauce is perfect and the smoked meat is mouth watering. you should offer regular white bread too because the cornbread is bangin but its also spicy.

After moving from Texas I had to find a place where I could get quality BBQ. There isn't anything exceptional about McKenna's, it's not bad but not great. If you want some true BBQ head to Bellevue to Amarillo. Hands down the best I've ever had, EVEN BETTER THAN TEXAS!

The meat is too dry, the beans too saucy and I don't care for jalapenos in my cornbread! Famous Dave's, though a chain, is MUCH better barbeque!

I was utterly dissapointed. The ribs were almost like jerky - the brisket was a bit dry as was the chicken. The Corn was a processed cobbett a.l.a. Jolly Green Giant. - We are in Nebraska --in JULY - fresh sweetcorn is EVERYWHERE. you'd think a place like this would capitalize on that. The red beans and rice was bland at first then really hot after being stirred up. -- I prefer Popeye's rb and rice to what I was served. It wasn't always this bad - maybe it was a bad night -- but it was 6 pm when i ate there and I have the feeling i was served leftovers from lunch. The jalepeno cornbread was just ok. - nothing to write hoem about. The two good things was the waitress and the onion rings, but a barbeque joint should have good tender juicy smoked meat. The meal was money wasted.

We were craving barbeque and wanted to pick somewhere that we hadn't been in a while. The delicious smell of barbeque tempted us from outside the restaurant. From the moment we walked through the front door, our family received excellent service. We were seated promptly and then the server took our drink orders. While we waited for our food we enjoyed the ambiance and blues music in the background. Food followed fairly quickly. I ordered 1/2 slab of the Hawaiian baby back ribs and my husband ordered brisket. Both were very tender and very tasty. Though all of the deserts were tempting, I decided to top it off with the Lithuanian torte. I would definately recommend it to friends and family and I know we'll be back!
