I have eaten here many times in the past 13 years. Most recently I went here with my husband and his family. My husbands father had a delicious pork steak with a green sauce on it, fried potatoes and pinto beans on the side. WONDERFUL~he let me sample it. I had a taco and tamale. Delicious!!!!
The only complaint I have is the waitress seemed young and lazy on my last visit(it was a Monday night) She didn't check in on us enough and most of the time the waitresses were just sitting at a table and eating. I understand if they are on break but not a constant break when they are suppose to be working. My husband and I decided to stop for some takeout the other night. We ordered the deluxe nachos and shared them. They were out of this world!!!!! Delicious~The food is the BEST~I highly recommend this restaurant!
My husband I ate here for the first time today, always looking for good Mexican food! This place was AMAZING, for me not only food was wonderful,,but the atmosphere was great. We sat out on the patio, had a pither of margaritas, appitiezer, and our entrees for 55 dollars including tip. And we had enough food left to bring home for breakfast tomorrow, bg portions!!! Will go back again and again!
My wife and I ate at El Aguila’s for the first time today (21 Dec 08) and loved it. It was -1 degree outside and the inside of El Aguila’s was very cozy and warm. At 1:30pm there was no wait and the staff was very friendly. There was a varied and diverse menu selection, the food was reasonably priced (both ate for $25), the food was fantastic and the restaurant was clean (with traditional Mexican ambiance). The portions were more than we could eat. It would be a great place to take your teenage kids! I would highly recommend. Take 13th street a few blocks north of I-80 and go west on Vinton Street and you'll see it on the left. If you go you won't be disappointed. It's NOT one of those hole-in-the-wall places.
Waitress was friendly and the Salsa was fantastic. Unfortunately they charge for the salsa and chips. The meals were expensive for lunch. The pork was dry and a bit tough.
Probably won't go back since there are better Mexican restaurants in the Omaha area.

If you are hankering for a big, fresh taco, try this casual neighborhood favorite. The portions are huge and the
food is very good. Start with a big plate of nachos (chips with cheese $1.99). There are five types ...
