Not a fan of the thicker crust nor being cooked in a pan. I like a real pizza cooked in a stone oven.
BUT so far this is the best pizza I have found in Omaha.
They use rabbit turd sausage and have real sausage in the meat case but wont use it on their pies?? why not? I no why as I have discussed it with them but they wont budge.
Good sauce. not real sure of the flavor it gives but when the ingredients all mix it is a real good pie. Flavors blend well and not overdone.
Always cooked properly.
I think this is what one would think of cooking at home on a Sunday afternoon for supper. Pizza in a pan and dont think one could get much better.
Every sunday I go down to Orsi's, I don't even have to wait for the best garlic bread in Omaha. It's bakded fresh and ready to go. Of course, I do have to wait 8 to 10 minutes for pizza. But that's all right. I'll surely wait 8 to 10 minutes in purgatory, just to have a little bite of heaven.
Good people running it. Supports their neighborhood and church.
The Bread is seriously good. Great garlic toast and pizza toast. You are in luck when you can get their sicilian bread warm out of the oven.
Close to ConAgra and UP. Worth the trip.
