One of Omaha's best

Obviously the people who gave bad reviews did not have reservations (which are required in such a small, popular space) or don't care enough to be on time for the reservations they had. Don't feel sorry for them one bit or listen to a word they have to say. They are just bitter they missed out.
Among the multitudes of chain restaurants that are making one city in American blend into the next to the point where you have no idea even what state you are in anymore, M's Pub is a standout. I have been to restaurants in some of the best "food" cities in the world and there is nothing overrated about this place. It is a place you can take out-of-town guest to impress them with Omaha's dining or go by yourself and sit at the bar for appetizers and cocktails. You will always make a friend and never feel alone.
The food is wonderful and even made an appearance in Better Homes & Gardens late last year for its specialty lavosh appetizer. Which, by the way, is fabulous in its many forms and far from overpriced. The staff is always friendly and professional, but busy, you must understand, so they cannot always be chatty. The ambiance is open and ecclectic, much like its diners.
Whether you live in Omaha, even out in the urban sprawl the city is sadly becoming, or you are a visitor make your way down to the Old Market area for the best dining in the city and put M's at the top of your list. For more than 20 years now it has been one of my favorite places.
