Passport Restaurant

Description

This upscale Old Market restaurant offers prime graded beef, veal, lobster tails, crab legs, salmon, sole and other fresh seafood. The steak cuts include porterhouse, New York strip and fillets. All of the menu items are served with fine attention to presentation. The white tablecloth adorned dining room is very elegant. You can also choose to sit in the cigar room, where you can purchase and enjoy a cigar. There is live piano music on Friday and Saturday evenings.

We were one of two tables occupied in the restaurant. During a busy College World Series weekend. We should have just walked out! Do not eat here their prices are way to high for what you get!!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!

The passport was very dissappointing. The service was ok, friendly server. The food was overpriced for the quality of food, since there are many prime steakhouses to choose from in omaha there is no reason to dine here. The manager was down right rude when our steak was all fat and gristle. The bartender was too busy chatting about people to get us a drink in a timely manner. The owner was there that night and he was VERY rude, we wont ever come back.

Too pricey for the stuffy service. Not worth the evening.

Outstanding Quality and Service

My favorite place to dine in Omaha. Have been there numerous times with family and friends and with business associates. Have never been disappointment. Food is excellently prepared and presented. The wait staff go out of their way to insure a memorable evening for you and your guests.

A warm spot in my heart
By ,
Been there twice. Once for business and once with my wife. Before we were married we were going out for her birthday. Went to a neighboring restaurant and got jobbed on our reservation. Even though we were casually dressed, Passport sat us at a great table by the piano and we had lovely food. A wonderful night was had after what could have been a disaster. The business dinner was less dramatic but the food was equally good. Recommend it.

Quaint

Food was pricey but abundant and well prepared. Medalions of pork were excellent. The service was top notch. Decor was sparse but quite appropriate. Art work was eclectic but very well done and tasteful. A very relaxed evening for my daughters graduation dinner. I would go back.

will not be back

my girlfriend and I had an 830pm reservation on saturday night..we arrive on time to see that the restaurant is not busy(maybe 4 tables), but yet with the 2 of us we get seated at a table for 4 by the window where we look outside to see constuction and portapotties, this was very disturbung to the both of us..i could see if the restaurant was busy, then maybe seat the guests by the window..or if we had specifically asked for a window seat..but to seat us there was totally uncalled for! when asked what kind of water we would like the hostess did not even BOTHER to mention the wine list...which we had to ask our waiter for..the food was good..but for the price we paid the service alone SHOULD have been topnotch! very disappointing! and we will let other people know
