If you want good Chinese food without the wait, this is the place for you. The line is always full of fresh hot food, and when they say its spicy, they mean it, your eyelids will sweat. You can even get buffet to go.
Since this is an all-day buffet, the quality of the food depends on what time of day you go (I wouldn't suggest going in the middle of the afternoon or late in the evening). My favorite time to go is around 5:00pm because the dinner has just been set up. They offer a variety of seafood in the evenings including different shrimp dishes and (my favorite) crab legs. The biggest complaints I have is that sometimes you feel like the waitresses are ignoring you or they hand you your check before you finish eating your first plate (this is a buffet, who eats only one plate at a buffet lol). But for the most part, it's a great place to go. I have been a regular customer for years, along with many other people, so they must be doing something right. I would definately suggest this as a good place to eat.
Excellent value with very good dinner selection. I agree with Major, the wontons are top notch. I enjoyed a taste of several seafood items and was not disappointed except for the calmari (which probably should only be served fresh anyway). The crab legs were smallish snow crabs, typical for an inexpensive buffet. Basically nothing on the buffet is vegetarian, so my wife got a tofu dish with black bean sauce (forget the name) and she rated it excellent, a gleaming endorsement. The pizza was pretty bad, but it was the only really old item on the buffet. I was happy that my young kids were encouraged to taste several other Asian foods and hold the pizza for a more appropriate venue. My family ate dinner for about $25, and we were all happy with the experience. Service was about what you can expect from a buffet. Kitchen service for the menu item was very fast. Mom got her food shortly after the kids were settled into their first plate. This was my first visit. I will keep it on our list for a midway stop between Wichita and KC.
NEW TO TOWN AND WE HAVE ONLY BEEN HERE 1 1/2 WEEKS AND BEEN HERE TWICE WITH HUBBY BEGGING TO GO BACK AGAIN.
WIDE VARIETY OF DELIOUS ITEMS FROM SEAFOOD TO EVEN PIZZA. WE LOVED ALMOST ALL OF IT. MY MIDDLE DAUGHTER LOVES THE MUSSEL AND SUSHI. THE CRABMEAT WAS WONDERFUL AND I REALLY LIKED THE SHRIMP DISH AS WELL AS THE SEASAME CHICKEN.
