Chicken had red juices coming from it like maybe it was raw. Appetizer, a fried food was served cold. Server said she would have the kitchen heat it up again , meaning it would be re-fried in the same oil as everyone else gets even though we had taken bites of it. Question: Does stomach flu get killed off through frying? Potatoes were lukewarm also.

I lived in Pittsburg from '82 to '87 when I graduated from good old PHS. My family moved away years ago, BUT I will drive out of my way (I'm in Louisville, KY) on my way near there to eat at Chicken Annie's. I STILL feel like family when I go there. In fact, I'm heading there again over Christmas time. Best Chicken ever and the best onion rings, german potato salad and great service too! My mouth is watering even thinking about it. They really do it right!

Noisy, not really, but whos family dinner time at their house isnt? My husband has been many times with his groups of thirteen or more, and having experienced different levels of capacity was never disappointed by the staffs attentiveness or the environment. I agree, the best chicken in the world by far. He always orders the same three-breast meal with green beans, cabbage, and mashed potatoes. Additionally, we travel from kansas city just to eat there, even bought the t-shirt! His only complaint, the mens bathroom is small. no more than 2 at a time comfortably, but we've both been in worse local bathrooms, such as Westport, MO, so this is not much of a concern. You love fried chicken, you gotta go here. oh yeah, the spaghetti is good too. 5 of 5 stars! Great job guys keep up the great work!

if you want the best chicken...
in town this is the place-yeah it gets a little crowded but then I don't mind it much. Family owned and run-they do an awesome job of it!

Love this place vs. KFC

While Pichlers is noisy I don't mind it much-after all it's family dining!!! The staff as always been wonderful and courteous. Food is top notch in my book. If you don't mind a slightly noisy atmosphere then come here to eat-if you want quiet this isn't it-but take out is a good idea!

no plans to return here. like eating in the middle of a busy intersection, waaaaay tooo noisy. good food but certainly not worth sitting through an entire dinner.... take out would be the only way I'll have food from this place again..

Too much noise
By Ann, 4/18/06
We eat here several times a year. We don't usually get seated in the west room, but we did this last time. Never again! There were only 4 of us, but the rest of the room was big tables with lots of people. There was entirely too much noise. I'm talking, can't hold a conversation, makes you have a headache, noise. Horrible!! Not eating in that room again. We couldn't wait to get out of there. And we are not the kind to complain easily. We are very tolerant. The food was very good. We just couldn't wait to eat it and get out of there.
