Bobo's Drive in, Topeka

No onion rings, yet the order after us got rings. Soft serve ice cream on apple pie a mode, what's that all about. The place was expensive and the shakes are very small, less than 6 oz.

The best place to go when you have a hangover! I have been to Bobo's twice now and I got the same thing both times because it was SO good, a double cheeseburger, onion rings and a chocolate malt. To say this food is unhealthy is an understatement, but OMG it is amazing! The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the inside is VERY small and the seating is extremely limited. It takes about 20 minutes to get your food because everything is cooked fresh, but it is SO worth the wait! If you are in Topeka you HAVE to visit Bobo's!

I was there just this past tuesday,the 22nd. There was only one carhop.Everytime a car would leave one would fill that spot.We waited 20 minutes for our order. I know it wasn't her (the carhops)fault we had to wait so long.What I'm really upset about is by the time we got our $30.00 order home we were missing half of it.What we did get was so crammed into one lousy bag that everything was all smashed and just a mess.So I had to call you and go all the way back there for the rest of our food. It was also a mess. The 3 orders of onion rings we bought were burnt. And the chilie on the fries appeared to be over cooked.So over all it was terrible. No compensation just a trip back there for the rest of our order. And it was kind of a special treat for us to come to eat at Bobo's.Not anymore I'm afraid.Cost too much for what we went through. sorry, i haven't been to bobo's, i did see it on the food channel and everything looks delicious... i would like to visit someday as my name is Bobo. my sister gave it to me when i was born, she couldn't pronounce my real name. (p.s.) i like Bobo much better, the only name i answer to... thank you for all your great reviews.

My wife and I love this place. The double cheese burger just melts in your mouth. The onion rings are usually greasy, but hey, it's fast food. I can't believe they do so much business from such a small kitchen. Good stuff.

I was excited about going to Bobo's, since I'd seen it on the Food Channel and read good reviews here. Sadly, I was disappointed. It was friendly and cute, etc., but the food just wasn't that good. The hamburger bun was cold...I was expecting it to be a true old-fashioned burger with the bun toasted on the grill. It was a small burger and not special-tasting. The fries were not special. The types of soft drink were quite limited. I decided to get a pie since that's one of the things I had heard about. I was again disappointed...not in the pie itself, which was very good, but in the fact that they only have one kind of pie...apple. Sorry, but when I think of pie I think of having a choice.

What a great place to eat. They come to your car and take your order.... the food is great, and the apple pie is to die for!!! I know their food is not healthy, but I feel like I am eating better then if I went to a fast food chain restaurant.

Bobo's reminds me of an old-timey diner and I love their food so much, I sometimes order 2 sandwiches just for me. The steakburgers have a flavor like home-grilled burgers - no filler and never dried out. Their onion rings are homemade and not overly breaded - excellent. Pie with the dairy soft satin freeze is a must! I also like their pie with melted cheese on top.
