Good choice of food. Great BBQ brisket and one of the better Reuben sandwichs in the the area. Been going since I was in college and will continue for a long time to come.

The tiger wings rock! This is a place everyone should try, they do have a kids menu but it is more of a bar atmosphere, so better to go w/out the kiddos.

Absolute best restaurant in Aggieville. The food, in my opinion, is better than Boudreaux's in St. Joseph or Overland Park. The atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful.

Best Cajun food I have ever had at a restaurant! Neighboring Texas Star has amazing food also! Really friendly staff too, and they make killer dirty martinis.

Great food, fun place

I have loved eating at the Hibachi Hut for years. It's so much better than the same old stuff you get in chain restaurants. It's called the Hibachi Hut because many years ago they used to bring little Hibachi's to your table to keep the meet hot. Somewhere along the line, the fire marshal said that wasn't a good idea to have fire at the table. So that changed, but the food's still great.

With Hibachi in the name, I thought this would be a Japanese Hibachi Restaurant. Not so much. It's cajun food. If that's what you want, go for it. If you want Japanese food, go to Topeka.

Locally owned and operated this restaurant is joint with it's in house neighbor the Texas Star Grill. Hibachi Hut features a wide variety of food, mostly with a cajun theme. Almost everything on the menu is excellent and made from scratch. The atmosphere is great, equally perfect for a gathering of friends, family or a casual date. Hibachi Hut has been in Aggieville for over thirty years and is a local favorite among many. If there is a special on the menu for the evening try it, I have never been disappointed with anything their cook has put together. Sometimes the vegetables or rice pilaf are lacking or not well done, but it's the entrees that will amaze you. Service is great and everything is reasonably priced. The only drawback is that it is not a very large establishment so there may be a bit of a wait during certain times of the day.
