A hidden gem. The first time my Vietnamese wife took me there I thought it was awful. Then the place was bought by new owners who cleaned the place up and it is now a beautiful restaurant with outstanding authentic Vietnamese food. The pho is outstanding, especially on cold, wet days. But my favorite is the banh xeo, a wonderfully crispy shrimp and pork pancake. With some fish sauce and cilantro it is AWESOME. The bun (cold vermicelli noodles) is really good with egg rolls. They also have the best spring rolls in town. Great service and insanely cheap prices. I cannot recommend this place enough.
This is by far my favorite restaurant ever. I love the Shrimp Curry-it is perfect, spicy and sweet-it's pure heaven. I love their teas and all of their appetizers are great too-crab rangoon and spring rolls..yummmy! The service is pretty good, sometimes they are a little slow-but typically, no complaints.
We've been eating at this restaurant for many years and have never had a bad experience. It's most recent management change has it run by an outstanding family. Service is excellent. We eat an evening meal there quite often and I frequently have lunch there on Saturdays. Often my regular lunch order is automatically ordered for me when I am seated. Can't say enough about it and can't imagine anyone being neglected by the always friendly staff! My family has always been treated like a part of their family!
The Pho soup here is good although it could use a bit more meat in it. The spring rolls and the sweet potato fries with shrimp are good choices for appetizers. Try a bubble tea my favorite is the Taro. Overall a good place. Their air conditioning is loud and shakes that is the only complaint I have.
ONLY AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE IN KC. I live in LA but have travelled extensively in Viet Nam. This cafe has marvelous pho, great tofu fries, really nice dinners and the staff is friendly and helpful. The decor is basic with some booths and may TVS but other than that there is standard neon lighting. The reason I go back is the food is varied and delicious but they are also just war and welcoming. Great value. No alcohol.
i've been to this restaurant many years now. At first good restaurant with good food and same guy waiter. But over the years its always been the same guy and his service keeps getting worse and clearly shows that he doesn't want to be there. One time it was not good at all. Ordered a noodle soup. Soup was warm(Not fresh and hot) and very little noodle! I wasn't even full!! I would not recommend it.
