Called to order a pizza for delivery and the gal who answered took down ALL of our information including name (that I had to spell twice), address (which I had to repeat), phone number (which I had to repeat), my order, gave me a price, and then told me that they were closing in 5 minutes and would not be able to deliver the pizza. She said that we could pick up the pizza - well...I'm from out of state and had NO CLUE where to go ~ and if they were closing in 5 mins how would they have a pizza for me anyway??????????? TWO BIG THUMBS DOWN!!! Didn't even have a chance to try the pizza & never will after that!!
Keno's has always been a favorite of mine. Their ingredients and quality are similar to Waldo Pizza, but Keno's is unique because the pizza slices are as big as a cafeteria tray. Everyone can get their own slice instead of fighting over what kind of pizza to share.
They're not quite as good since they reopened, seems like they use a little greasier cheese and meat, but they still serve some of the best pizza in the KC area.
Pizza by the slice, except the slices are the size of cafeteria trays... They have cheese pizzas on deck, then pull off a slice, add whatever toppings you request, bake it, and cut it in to squares. One slice and a couple of their fantastic garlic cheese sticks makes one heck of a meal.
