I've ate here before and the food is good, however with my visit today, I witnessed some of the worst service I've ever seen. I walked in and sat at the bar to order pasta to go. I watched as 5 different waiters/waitresses walked by and not a single one offered to take my order. I watched as 10 minutes went by, then 15, then 20. That was it. Not even offered water. Bambinos staff.....get it together!!! You've always had a good reputation. Don't blow it with lousy service.
Wonderful food, it reminds me of my favorite Italian restaurant in Michigan. I took my husband there for lunch this past weekend, neither of us had ever been there before and we wanted to try someplace different.
Don't let the size of Bambino's fool you, this is Italian food at it's best. The service is awesome, the atmosphere is inviting, the portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. I can see why it is such a busy place to eat. This is one restaurant that we will definitely go back to.
Took three visiting childhood friends from Illinois (Rockford, Peoria and Champaign) and they LOVED it so much they insisted we go back again! Loved the marinara sauce, the prices, and the atmosphere. No one tried to hurry us along and we had so much fun talking and eating. Really a great place!
I haven't been to the place, but have ordered delivery numerous times. I always tell myself I'm going to try something new each time, but the Antipasto Salad with chicken always calls to me. This is a salad that will last you for lunch and dinner. It's awesome!
Like small businesses? Local Art Galleries? Uncrouded dining?
This is the place to go. Set in a small residential area, this little nook in the wall is a quiet and relaxing place to go and wind down for the day and enjoy home made italian quizine.
On the walls are the works of local artists, trying to get exposure and maybe a little extra cash for the following semester. The staff is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile, and happy hour is a nice time to come cool down at the end of a long day.
Want to eat outdoors and enjoy the weather? There is also a nice outside patio to sit and enjoy your meal. And if you are stuck at home pulling an cram session, no worries....they deliver.
Always a good choice and always resonable prices, Bambinos is the way to go.
