Great food. Like everyone else said, unique and not exactly Mexican food. Their Chicken Fajitas are great.

Great menu. Food is good. Not a good place for lunch carryout though. I usually have to wait in line for 15-30 min to get pay for food that I called ahead to order.

Awesome food! We eat there every time we go to Lawrence. The menu is diverse - from chimichangas to rice bowls. The prices cannot be beat. A casual setting where you can get great food and have a margarita, too. They also offer an excellent variety of vegetarian options. You won't be disappointed.

Food is great but last time there I watched cook repeatedly lick his fingers (no gloves on) as he prepared some ones meal.

Authentic and creative Non-Mexican Latin (Brazil, Arg, CR, Colombia, Caribbean) food!

This is a good place to eat in Lawrence. It is not fast food and is relative affordable. I highly recommend it.

I love La Parilla! I like the unique food. It's not mexican, it's offers a Latin American menu. It doesn't hurt that the help is HOT too! I love their drinks...Aguas frescas, Horchata, Brazilian lemonade!! They are unique in that they offer FREE chips and salsa to their customers. They have amazing Guacamole, as well! What makes La Parilla most appealing is the location and ambiance. The sidewalk patio is amazing in the spring and fall! The only downside is that it can be a bit pricey for a family...of say three or four. It's perfect for the single college kid budget!
