For the last decade, this restaurant has been serving up family fare at affordable prices to Branson locals and visitors alike. With space for more than 180 guests, the restaurant welcomes buses and tour groups with its all-you-can-eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and seafood buffets. Light wood paneling graces the walls, which house the numerous awards this restaurant has earned. The tables are also made of wood and are decorated with linen napkins and fresh-cut flowers. The breakfast buffet is probably the most extensive in Branson, with fresh fruits taking up half of the buffet table. For dinner, the seafood buffet, complete with steamed clams, crab legs and frog legs.
Decided to try their breakfast buffet after having a bad eating experience the day before at
The Plantation. Starvin Marvins buffet was fresh and actually tasted like food. The staff were
all very friendly and gave very good service. Will go back again the next time in Branson!
I'm from Louisiana and beleave me I know what seafood is suppose to taste like and they have a prretty good idea.... Not many people will pay for the buffett down here with the stuff they have on their menue.. They are way over priced maybe for a tourist trap that would be fine. The King Crab is a joke crawifsh were over cooked also ther boiled shrimp was something elst to be desired....Try the casino's on the Mississippi gulf coast on Friday night for some great seafood..........
My husband and I LOVED this place! It has a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I have eaten here in the past for breakfast but neither of the other meals. I LOVED IT! The all you can eat snow crab legs are wonderful for a evening out! We went back the next day for breakfast and the next for lunch. They were all outstanding. The dinner is a little bit steep but worth it
My family stops at Marvin's once a year. We go to the breakfast buffet. The food is always hot and you can't beat the selection of food, from fresh fruit to sausage gravy. The service there is A-1. Nowhere else can you get the fast and friendly service.
We have paid much more for much less food.
We recommend Starvin Marvins to everyone.
Very disappointed in both food and service. Maybe waitress was surly b/c we opted to order from menu rather than buffet. Never came back once food was delivered except to bring check. No offers for drink refill. Food was mediocre, baked potatoes underdone, vegetables cold. Not a good experience on any level.
I have never tried the breakfast buffett but I will next time we are there.I LOVE the crab legs especially the dungs crab. The boiled shrimp are very good. The only complaint is that the price for the buffett. When we go we only eat the crab legs and shrimp which in my opinion are the only 2 items worth eating on the bar.
This was our first time to eat at Starvin Marvin's, an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet sounded intriguing. Salad bar was adequate, boiled shrimp was well-seasoned and fresh, the frog legs were the best I've ever had, and the crab legs were hot and fresh. I would skip the fried shrimp though, it's mainly breading, but all in all it was a positive experience. I don't think I'll go back, $24.95 is a bit steep for us, but it was a decent meal.
