Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, Branson

I ate at Golden Corral on 2/9/2013. It was okay, they seemed to rush me to eat and take my plate away. I ended up with food poisoning as did my husband and Son. I was the sickest and ended up in the Er with food poisoning. I called them after two weeks of being sick and told them. The lady said I am manager but I dont know how to handle this. She said someone would call me back.. they never did. I called them today as I still dont feel well from eating there and had to have all kinds of tests done. Today she told me well I am not sure about this, I will call you back within 10 minutes...no call yet..it has been over an hour. I dont want a free meal or anything from them really but I will write a review on every web page I can find. I got sicker than a dog from eating there and I know it was from the steak they had piled up just sitting there forever...beware

We always look forward to eating at the Golden Corral in Branson Mo. Last year we found a dirty plate and fork. But we were back in Branson this past week and decided to try it again. I was so disappointed in their breakfast. The fruit bar was nothing but Fruit from a Can. Fresh fruit consisted of bananas, grapes, green melon. Not the usual strawberries, pineapple and watermelon. My hashbrowns were cold the link sausage had been cooked too long and they did not have their usual muffins. Just biscuits and some type donut. Needless to say, we probably won't be going back. Service was great! When you have seen the food better it's sad to think how it has gone down.

Well I seen there was not one new post sence 2010 on here so though I would post one and I say that I eat at Golden Corral anytime I can even tell people to go there and eat it's a very good place to eat good food and good staff if you go kids to feed or ever going to feed your friends and treat them to a night out this is the place to go you can have just about anything you would like to eat and it's Great so if you looking to eat out at a great place what are you wating 4 Golden Corral is the Bomb!!!!!!

Great food, friendly and accommodating staff. Our group eats there regularly and it just gets better and better. Never have been disappointed, but this last year has gotten even better. They seems to keep adding new foods to keep things interesting.Good variety in salads also.

I was disappointed. I frequent Golden Corral's but this was is by far the worst. I was there for breakfast and they could't or wouldn't put out bacon and the other food wasn't that great. I requested bacon and they provide half cooked or warmed bacon. The staff made you feel unwelcome.I feel the staff's action are an extension of their manager who seems to be incapable of manageing a restaurant of this size. I will not go back!!

We eat at Branson's Golden Corral often and always find it a pleasant and enjoyable experience. The staff and management are courteous and helpful. They have a group sales department that helps you to set up for groups of special events. The lady that runs that is tops. And, they have a fabulous show in the back dining room with Allen Edwards. It's superb! One of the top shows in Branson!! Sure, they get busy, but if we drive by and see a line of buses out there, we just come back later when they're not so crowded. Great place to eat, fabulous place to take groups! Great food at a great value!

We visited Golden Corral on our first night in Branson. We were tired, and there was a car show in town...so we really didn't want to fight traffic. We got there just after 5:30 and were seated immediately. My boyfriend and I went through the food bar and found everything to be hot, fresh, and tasty. The salad bar offers quite a few different lettuce mixes and all the toppings you could ever want. There are several salads and slaws as well which were very good. The hot rolls with Honey Butter were very YUMMY!! Our server, Randy, was very attentive and brought us refills without us finishing the first glass of our drinks. We were both sooooooo full, but we decided to try out the desserts. They were plentiful and varied. They had several no sugar desserts for those who like that kind of thing. I had a tiny bit of the hot fudge cake (TO DIE FOR) and a smidgen of the banana pudding(YUMMY). My boyfriend had a piece of chocolate pie(delicious) and a piece of carrot cake that fell apart but was otherwise very good too. The only bad thing was the group of 6 teenagers that were sitting next to us who obviously didn't realize they were in public. They laughed and talked so loudly that all of the diners around us were very perturbed. It's a shame to have a nice dinner...and such a delicious one...end with stupidity and lack of hometraining....but Golden Corral can't help that. Like my daddy has always said...you can't fix stupid!

WE went there for breakfast and had a good selection of food. The staff were very courteous.

I usually prefer sit down restaurants to buffets but my husband is a buffet man so this was his restaurant choice for the vacation. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was hot and delicious. The fresh strawberries were wonderful. The only downfall was the cake I ate for dessert. It was a bit dry. I didn't even think too much about all the nasty little kids who come in unsupervised and put their hands in everythinig (no I did not see this occur but I am convinced it does quite often at all buffets).
