Mc Farlain's Family Restaurant, Branson

We had Thanksgiving day dinner there. Servers all greeted you with an enthusiastic "Happy Thanksgiving". Food was like home cooking, including actual mashed potatoes. For as hectic of day as it was for the staff, they remained attentive, and smiling, and you couldn't beat the price on the dinner.

Not as good as expected & definitely not as good as Cracker Barrel or Golden Corral across the street. The BBQ ribs were very stringy and chewy. Cornbread was good however. Advertised a lot on TV & in brochures but really a disappointment. Medium prices though.

I have eaten at Mc Farlin's many times during our stays in Branson. It is some of the best comfort food I have ever eaten. I bought their cook book & enjoy cooking many of the foods at home.When my kids come home they ask me to cook Mc Farlin's receipes. I have eaten all over the US & it is one of my favorite. Fried green tomatoes. YUM!! The rising table is really funny. I always enjoy watching other peoples reactions.

Best open-faced Roast Beef sandwich I've had in years. The service was as good as I have ever had.

The food isn't anything special. The setting is a lot like Cracker Barrel. They have some sort of a trick table that is supposed to lift up while the unsuspecting guests are suprised and everyone is watching and laughing. However, we sat and waited forever to watch this happen and decided to leave, so we didn't get to see it. The food reminded me of cafeteria food.

This is my second year in a row coming to Branson for family vacation. All I could think about on my drive here is McFarland's!! This is the best food and at a great price. Nice servings and the staff is awesome.

Mc Farlain's Family Restaurant is one of the best retaurant's in the whole entire world!!! Everyone should eat here when they are traveling with there family!

Me and my grand-daughter come to Branson every year and we love to eat here. The food is pretty good, but the atmosphere and the rising tables are wonderful.

This resturant is one of the best in Branson. You will love the catfish, and thr fried green tomatos. The servers are all really great and the portions are out of this world Even though i dont work there anymore i eat there every chance i get, The banana cream pie is to die for. And the prices are the best in branson you cant beat this resturant it like cracker barrel but better you will not regreat going there and i can honestly say you will love it

The food's is not bad--it's actually good. The service and hospitality is awful! We were greated by an "I don't want to be here" hostess who threw the menu's down and sighed at us when we walked in. When we were seated we waited for what seemed like an eternity--and had to "yell" to the hostess to find us a waitress. She finally showed up and after taking our order had to come back and find out again what we wanted because she couldn't read the writing on her note pad. (The customers at the table next to us also had to wait for a waitress to show up!) What were we thinking two days later when we stopped in to pick up a "to go" order of their tasty pie! Again we are greeted with an "I don't know how to do that" attitude and again had to wait for a competant person take our order. She brings it out--puts it on a table accross the room--takes care of other customers and then points to our food and says--"your alls order is over there!" What is with these people?
