Mc Farlain's Family Restaurant, Branson

My husband, myself, sister and brother-in-law ate at McFarlain s on Saturday, February 16th. Was not our first time there but, WILL be our last. The service was very poor, slow and waitress seemed less very unorganized. The food was not good and none of finished our dinner. This is a shame, as in the past we have enjoyed our experience. Another issue was while we were trying to eat, we were bothered with a gentleman taking our picture and trying to sell us a key chain and picture. Didn t go there to be annoyed with a sales person. Not as good as expected & definitely not as good as Cracker Barrel or Golden Corral across the street. The BBQ ribs were very stringy and chewy. Cornbread was good however. Advertised a lot on TV & in brochures but really a disappointment. Medium prices though.

I have eaten at Mc Farlin's many times during our stays in Branson. It is some of the best comfort food I have ever eaten. I bought their cook book & enjoy cooking many of the foods at home.When my kids come home they ask me to cook Mc Farlin's receipes. I have eaten all over the US & it is one of my favorite. Fried green tomatoes. YUM!! The rising table is really funny. I always enjoy watching other peoples reactions.

Best open-faced Roast Beef sandwich I've had in years. The service was as good as I have ever had.

The food isn't anything special. The setting is a lot like Cracker Barrel. They have some sort of a trick table that is supposed to lift up while the unsuspecting guests are suprised and everyone is watching and laughing. However, we sat and waited forever to watch this happen and decided to leave, so we didn't get to see it. The food reminded me of cafeteria food.

This is my second year in a row coming to Branson for family vacation. All I could think about on my drive here is McFarland's!! This is the best food and at a great price. Nice servings and the staff is awesome.

Me and my grand-daughter come to Branson every year and we love to eat here. The food is pretty good, but the atmosphere and the rising tables are wonderful.

This resturant is one of the best in Branson. You will love the catfish, and thr fried green tomatos. The servers are all really great and the portions are out of this world Even though i dont work there anymore i eat there every chance i get, The banana cream pie is to die for. And the prices are the best in branson you cant beat this resturant it like cracker barrel but better you will not regreat going there and i can honestly say you will love it
