This place will satisfy everyone. The buffet is stocked with all sorts of midwestern favorites, including catfish and beef. A dessert bar and bakery round out the offerings. I was quite disappointed in it...which I haven't been to in years....they used to have the best food. I don't know if they were just off this particular night...but it wasn't good at all. There was not a big selection like there used to be. And especially for the price I paid for my family, I wouldn't go back there again.

By Jeri E, 8/6/08
We were just down last weekend. An this was our last stop out off town. The food was great. They have the wonderful fried shrimp an ribs that we had down there. The service was good. Oh,an the salad bar has fresh fruit an great toppings. Only wish we would have known this before. You need to stop an eat here!!!! The price is right for children an adults.

Great variety
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/3/08
Great variety of family oriented shows in this theatre. There are shows day and night, seven days a week. If you're staying at Grand Country (Highly recommended), there is bound to be a show or two everyone in the family will want to see. Price varies by show.

We look forward to going back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/3/07
We had a fantastic thanksgiving dinner there in 2005. It had all the trimmings and tasted like it was home cooked just like mom used to make!

Good place to eat lunch
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/07
We didn't eat dinner one night still full from lunch. For $8 the lunch buffet is very good. Staff is friendly and nice. We ate lunch there everyday of our stay.

From a 'Local'

The Grand Country is an experience all it's own. It's a one-stop place. Eat, stay, see a show and shop at the Grand Country. As for the restaurant itself all I can say is it's common, comfort food. From the scrambled eggs, banana nut muffins and biscuits & gravy breakfast to the meatloaf, fried chicken, steamed veggies and baked potatoes for dinner. The price is a little less than absolutely affordable but it's a good atmosphere, with good service, and a clean place to eat. Look at the prices on the huge display when you go in, look around, and decide for yourself. Afterwards...go play mini-putt right adjacent to the dining area!
