Awful food. I ordered a country fried sirloin and it literally tasted like a TV dinner and was about the size of one too. I m almost sure the mashed potatoes were imitation. The jalapeño poppers were terrible. The rolls they toss at you were not soft at all and the service was horrible. If you re looking for good Southern Country food, this is NOT the place.
This was the worst food that I have ever had in Branson. The wait was over 30 minutes to be seated then over 30 minutes to get someone to take our order another hour before our food came out. Then the food was cold and nasty and the waitress did not refill our drinks. We then had to wait in line another 20 minutes to be able to pay and leave. We will never go back and I have told everbody I see not to go there.
THE WORST SERVICE I HAD EVER SEEN . OUR SERVER HAD A NOSE RING AND LIP RING IN HER FACE...JUST PLAIN NASTY. GOT MY ORDER WRONG....20 MINUTE WAIT FOR MY RIGHT ORDER . THE STEAK WAS RAW. WILL NOT BE GOING AGAIN. THE PLACE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As restaurant owners my wife and I wonder why one would put up some great decor in a good room and then not bother to train their staff. We had to break the hostess out of a trance to get seated, wait for service in a room staffed by too many employees and no customers. Prime rib was the same thickness as a MacDonalds burger patty and wife's catfish was not copetitive with anyplace else in the area. Entire operation was so bad that we didn't know if we shoul laugh or cry. Place is obviously for tourists and not shooting for return guests. Many people walking in and out of cooking area looking very unkempt without hairnets or any of the expected cleanliness gear. Obvious the owners have a good idea but need to educate themselves on how this is done. Looks like a good place for the staff to hang out while ignoring their jobs.
We ate at this joint on Friday night before Thanksgiving, a slow time in Branson. For starters, we had to wait about 20 minutes in the gift shop while there were empty tables in sight. Next, to be seated I had to go up a flight of stairs, and I am a crippled old man. The gal seating us said they were supposed have asked if I could go up the stairs, but no one did.
Once seated, we were served in good time. Our server did his part. I ordered prime rib, which was smoked with liquid smoke. At least it didn't bray when I stabbed it. The baked potato was not good, and I was charged 99 cents for cheese.
The wood floor was wet and slick. The air return vents were filthy. A look over the balcony showed the top of the ceiling fans, which had a thick coating of dirt on them.
Needless to say, I will not return. The food was way overpriced for what you receive. I only wish I could give a zero star rating, but that would be too high.
This place is AWFUL!!! Rudy, the roll thrower, was too busy trying to sing a Mexican song instead of throwing rolls. Rudy needs to retire, he sucks at his job and at singing. The service was AWFUL as well. We finally got to order our drinks and they never even came back to refill our drinks. The food is GROSS! We all had something different and all was GROSS! We picked the place because we LOVE Lambert's in Ozark, MO... This nasty place was nothing like Lambert's. I will never go back. The prices were very high considering you got no service, no rolls, no drinks, and the food was gross. We actually went and got fast food afterwards because we were still hungry. Please DO NOT go here. Don't waste your time or money.
DON'T RECOMMEND UNLESS DESPERATE! The service was average at best. Took quite some time to order and waiter never came by to ask if we needed anything. We had to hunt him down for more drinks, food, ticket, etc. IT IS VERY, VERY LOUD . Since there are no partitions and you sit crowded together plus there are tall ceilings--it sounds like you are in a large industrial building. The food wasn't bad--we liked the catfish and the pieces are very big. But hushpuppies were gross and the baked potatoes, though large, were not fresh. Our all you can eat catfish dinners were $15.99 so they weren't cheap either.
