Farm House Restaurant, Branson

Everything about it was perfect. Home town place with food that looks like your grandma just cooked it in the kitchen at home. I had the Fisherman's breakfast which is a little of everything plus more and I ate it all and dang it was good. the Biscuits are HUGH and super dense so that is a true lead sinker to fill you up quick. My wife ate the Pecan pancakes and they were divine. Overall I can not say enough about how wonderful the breakfast was. I look forward to going back again. Be sure if there is a small line to hang on for a couple of minutes the food comes out quick and service is great so it does not take too long for table to open up and it is well worth the wait if you have too. This is dead in the middle of historic Branson and by far the best breakfast place in town and one of the best breakfast places I have ever eaten at.

OK but nothing special. The server was a bit slow but tried to do a good job, but wasn't up to it. The food was good but not great. None of the four of us was that impressed.

One of our favorite restaurants in Branson! The downside is the wait in line, but the food is worth waiting for. I personally like the chicken fried steak. They have a cute gift shop upstairs.

Excellent food and known for their pies. We had the fabulous apple pie and pecan pie - very good. Light, tender crust that melts in your mouth. They also have great iced tea and coffee.

We have been visiting Branson for years and have always heard good things about the Farmhouse we just never made it in. I am glad we finally did. It is small and always crowded but the food was everything that was advertised. We will definitely go back.

The Farmhouse doesn't often disappoint if you know what you are going there for. If you are looking for top notch 5 star dining, then you will be *sorely* disappointed. If you are looking for a place to sit and rest your feet while walking around the old downtown area and are looking for some country cooking then the Farmhouse is really a great place to go! As other reviews state, chicken-fried steak, opened face sam'miches, potatoes and green beans. It's basic, it's not fancy, but it's normally good food. It does get a little crowded in there - the tables are a little bunched up. But overall good value for your dollar.

My wife and three girls and I love this little restaurant we have been eating @ The Farmhouse for more then 10 yrs or so when we visit Branson. At least twice a week while we are there.

The Farm House is known in Branson for their homemade pies and a great chicken fried steak! It's a small cozy place where your greeted with a smile. We've always had a great meal here! The menu ranges from hamburgers to steaks but they always have a "special of the day" but save room for pie ala mode with that good ice cream! It's wonderful! PROS: Homemade pies, great staff, good food! CONS: Parking can be rough during tourist season
