Peppercorn's, Branson

On our many trips to Branson, we usually have dinner at your restaurant. I brought my mother, daughter and her two children on Sunday at 4pm. The food was just put out. The chicken had a hard skin and was dry, the mashed potatoes tasted fake, the steaks were dry, the banana pudding was watered down and tasted bad, the coblers were mostly crust. The service was poor, we could not get refills only to find out there was one waitress for the entire restaurant. We explained our concern with the cashier, but she showed a lack of concern and only said she would pass it on. Not even an appology for the bad experience. We were also surprised to pay 7.99 for a three year old.

We were going to eat at Peppercorns last week (8/7/07). As soon as we walked in, we smelled a horrible odor; like something was rotten. We turned around & immediately left the restaurant. Because of the odor, I would NOT go back! Judging from the reviews, I am glad we did not eat there. A friend of mine was there the previous weekend and he got sick before he finished his meal!

Hated Everything. The food was awful, service bad and value too high. I've got better food at a one dollar menu. Save money and Go somewhere else.

It was a sad time as we walked into the resturant. It was in good order and the place was not full. We sat down and spoke to the waiter for drinks. IT WENT DOWN FROM THERE!! The bar was mostly empty and they coud not seem to get it full. The waiter said he was sorry that he could not serve us better but that had just been blasted and that he was trying to catch up. Well pitty me for wanting to be a customer. There was no salad or desserts to have and we were there waiting for 45min CAN'T GO BACK THERE

This place was terrible. 5.99 for a 3 year old buffet? Seriously? How much do they think a kid is going to eat? The tables were dirty, the entire restaurant was dirty actually. What a terrible place, I will never go back, and tell everyone I know to stay away.

this was the worst restaurant i've ever been to....never go. no food on the buffet limited selection and it was cold. no free refills.. 7.99 is cheap but you dont get your money's worth. 3 year olds are charged 6.99 what does a 3 year old eat? not 6.99 worth of food!!!!!!!!

This is the worst restaurant on Earth. I went there on a family trip and it was horrible. It has good service and atmosphere, but it wasn't the best. In fact, it wasn't good at all! The buffet was puny, and all the food was hard like it was overcooked. And it was cold. They also have this pathetic little breakfast buffet, and the bacon was stone cold and hard as a rock. Main idea, never go here!

ok, so it was cheap... They should have paid us to eat there. If you're lucky enough to read this before going to this dump - please learn from our mistake... STAY AWAY! Food was horrible, fried chicken tasted like it was fresh out of a TV dinner box, fruit was bad, On top of that there was no hot water in the restrooms! The Health Department should shut this place down.

We found the food on the buffet not only missing in quantity but quality as well. It was cold and not many choices. The cluster of crab legs that I was going to eat were sent back after I got back to my seat and got a good look at them - they were hairy. The waitress was bad and they do not offer a Senior's discount. You would think that for 40 bucks for 3 of us it would have been A LOT better. My daughter was sick the rest of the trip. It's like my friend told me once - if it's dark around the buffet don't eat it because you never know what's been crawling on the food.
