I was expecting a large buffet and it was very small with only about 6 things to select from and then when I asked to replace a dessert that was empty they said it would be replaced and never got replaced after waiting 20 minutes. I sat down and was waiting for a waiter and some came over and took the water I was drinking and told me to have a good day. Before I even got to see the buffet.
We had previously eaten there and were pleased, but this time we found that the bread buns were hard and the food was barely warm, and the chicken I ordered was tough and the skin was like rubber. The waitress was good but was soo busy she could not come back. When we checked out
the so called manager was running back and forth to the eating area, because of a bus load. But that was not a reason to let us stand there for (ten minutes)and then when we presented a coupon after searching for it in my wallet, refused to accept it, saying he had already entered the charge on my card. I chose to pay and leave the place for good. I have made this story known to all I meet and to the people at the hotel we stayed at. I will never return there.
The building looks great. Someone put some money into a fancy looking restaurant. They forgot one thing was the quality of the food. They have the same identical buffet and menu as some little place down the street and it was not that great. We go to check out and the man at the register tells me of my card being invalid, declined and no good and made sure everyone knew about it. Well my card is good because everyother place I went after it worked well. I am really not worried about that because the food was not that great and I have better places to go. If anyone wants real original tasting food at a great price , go to Dick Clarks American Bandstand down the road. Your card will work there too. Really too many other great place to eat than there are big places to eat.
There were more empty spaces on the buffet than full pans of food. When we asked the waitress she said they don't care they just get mad when I say anything.Isn't it someone's job to keep the buffet full.We still had to pay full price for this very dissapointing buffet. We will go back to golden corrall or grand country from now on.
It has the charm of a run down buffet joint and the food was not anything special. I have a family of 5 and the $30 bucks we plunked down could have been better spent elsewhere, almost anywhere else. It was cheap food at a high price for what we got. Maybe they were having an off day, but I was very disappointed. My wife thoought she had raw shark fin when she bit into the catfish... She ended up having instant potato for lunch. I had yummy canned pudding.
Friendly staff, though we experienced a short wait to be seated, the employees acknowledged our presence and made us feel welcome. Seafood buffet is a crab lover's bargain. Love the breakfast buffet for a measely four bucks. We'll be back.
