Gilley's Texas Cafe, Branson

arrived @6:40 by 7:35 we still hadn t been seated. we had ticket to the show so we left, the place was only 1/2 full, a lot of empty tables. People who were seated before we came in still didn t have their food when we left. Don t know if food is good or not.

Great place to eat! Our Dinner took a while but place was busy and waitress was apologetic. Live entertainment added a nice touch to the evening. Recommend this place to all!

My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Branson and we ate here and it was amazing! Great food great prices and friendly service. If we ever make it back to Branson we will definitely eat here :)

This was our first trip to Branson. We decided to eat lunch at this restaurant. Needless to say, we won't go back and will NOT recommend it. The ribs were ok, but the mixed vegetables were something you buy and cook from the grocery store....peas, corn, lima beans, and green beans. My husband had the chicken fried steak, which had to come from Wal Mart. His roll was something you could get from a cafeteria. The fries were the only decent food we got. If you're going to eat here, go at lunch, since the prices on the dinner menu are kind of expensive.

We had our first evening meal in Branson. It's good, could be better but we will go back. We had good customer service.

We ate at Giley's our last night in Branson on April 29, 2009. We were so disappointed and let down on our meal. We both ordered the rib eye steak cooked medium (which is pink center). Our steaks were both well well done and had no taste at all. The only flavor we had was from the A-1 steak sauce. One of the worst steaks I've ever had. We complained to the waitress, but all she said was that she was sorry and she would let the cook know. We should have asked for the manager, but we didn't. I just won't ever go back there. We did have a mixed drink and they were very good. After we finished there, we went over to the theater and saw a wonderful show. One of the best in Branson. It was just the restaurant that was not good at all.

SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING....BURRITO AND RIBS WERE FABULOUS! WE EVEN RAN INTO MICKEY HIMSELF WHO GAVE US 3RD ROW SEATS TO HIS SOLD OUT SHOW. HE TOOK PICTURES WITH MY KIDS. ALL AROUND GREAT EXPERIENCE. BEST FOOD IN BRANSON!

Chicken fried steak strait from the freezer, could have gotten that from walmart-embarassment for sure! It must be very nice to rely on a name!

The food was horrible. It tasted like a frozen dinner meal. I am from Texas and I am very embarrassed that It supposedly represents Texas. My husband and I regret going there.
