Charley's Store, Lincoln

This place is awesome to eat at. Don t eat much before you go though, there is always so much to eat, that it is hard choosing which deserts to eat. All of the food is absolutely amazing and is what you call real home cooking. The rolls are to die for.............. I am constantly craving them.

We live near St. Louis and when we get to spend time at the lake, we always eat at Charley's. Make sure to take home some of the cinnamon rolls for the little store. They are excellent!! Well worth the trip.

Absolutely awesome! I wish we lived closer... well, maybe not! Wouldn't be good for my waistline! We drive to Charley's from Kansas City about once a year and everything from the roast beef (falls apart) to the real mashed potatoes and gravy to the corn that tastes like it was just cut off the cob to the WONDERFUL gooseberry cobbler and rhubarb cobbler (just two of the many cobblers...and the pumpkin cake. We've never been disappointed and neither has anyone who has taken our advice and tried Charley's, too. Well worth the drive!! And very reasonably priced!

My entire family and I travel 80 miles each trip to our small lake house 3 to 5 times during the spring through fall seasons and each time we do we always make we make a trip to Charley,s. The food is fantastic my grandmother couldnt do any better ( and she was a very good cook ) she would have enjoyed the food there. Everything from the desserts to the bread make the trip well worth it and all this for a reasonable price. Make sure you get there early tho as someone already said the line gets very long.

The older folks at church rant and raved about this place so much that we decided to take the 2 hour drive to check it out...TOTALLY WORTH THE TRIP! This is the best food I have had in years, the home made bread tastes just like what my great grandmother made and there is a dessert table that is a mile long...every kind of dessert you can possibly think of is there! I recommend that everyone go there at least once...but get there early, the line gets crazy...wraps all the way around the building! I can't wait to go back again sometime!

People drive from miles and miles for this buffet and it is no wonder! The food is FANTASTIC!!!
