Applebee's, Joplin

I love applebee's, its not to expensive, the food is wonderful, good service. I would recommend it.

Walking in the door I could see it was congested and dirty. I should be on a show of restaurant impossible because basic cleaning needs to take place in this restaurant. Carpet needs swept.......trash, etc. all over and wouldn t hurt to shampoo the carpet in some downtime. Service was extremely slow.....late.....nonexistent at times. I have been to several Applebees and this one is by far the dirtiest. Hygiene Issues+++ Bathrooms make you feel like you need a tetinus shot upon entering. Staff members stood around alot and acted too busy visiting w/each other to care about cleaning.

I always get the Cajin Steak dinner It is always hot and mouth watering Never had any problems with it being under cooked they always make sure you get just what you order

The selection kind of sucks. I wish that this applebees would kick it up a notch. The food quality is lagging in recent past, the steaks are fatty. I haven't eaten there in... so long I can't remember. The saving grace is the nice people, the melty fudge cake and location. Maybe they could try the healthy angle, also smoking is too close to non.

I like Applebee's and have been there more times than I can count. They have good food and frequently get new menu items. Most of the time the service is great but I have got the occasional bad server. I have a toddler and she likes to go here because they give her balloons and have lots of interesting things on the wall to keep her entertained.
