Crumbly Burger, St Joseph

Maid Rite is home of the best loose meat sandwiches anywhere. For the uniniated, a Maid Rite is like a hamburger but instead of a patty, the meat is browned, seasoned hamburger on a bun with the fixings. It's like a Sloppy Joe but without the sauce and with onions, pickles, mustard, ketchup. They are delicious! In St. Joseph, Maid Rite sandwiches are a long standing tradition. I'm a native of St. Joe and have eaten Maid Rites all my life. The taste is unique and I've never found it anywhere else. Maid Rite also offers some other menu items that include corndogs and other favorites. They also offer some ice cream treats which kids love. I would reccommend it to anyone and although I now live elsewhere, I always make time to eat at Maid Rite when I go back home. PROS: Delicious, like no other sandwich and better than a hamburger CONS: Small restaurant, limited seating
